Review on πŸ”§ Tear Aid Fabric Repair Roll: The Ultimate Solution for Sports & Outdoor Play Repairs by Paul Freeman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not good for trampoline repair

I bought this after reading a few other reviews that it was good for trampoline water slide repair. The repaired area was in the seam. We sewed the seam together and then laid it over to hold the seams in place. After the kids pressed the pavement twice, it came up. I rounded the corners as recommended, but it didn't matter. I don't know if another type B patch would have worked better? But the film is not vinyl. I would say even when applied dry it was questionable if it would hold up so wouldn't I use it on a dry trampoline either? It was quite expensive for the amount that came in the roll. I ended up ordering another box hoping to strengthen the patch but after five or 10 more times down the slide I realized it was hopeless. I tried to cancel my second order less than an hour after placing it but was unable to do so through Revain. This is a very sticky material and if you barely touch it it will leave fingerprints or even nail marks on the pavement. Instead I used Flex Seal. Aside from the above, this has been advertised.
