It has surprisingly average reliability for such a fairly advanced router, and not all of its features work as expected. The manufacturer is a well-known name in the industry. In general, a good model if they fix a bug that is causing the Internet to intermittently stop working. If they set up parental controls and expand logging, they will be an excellent model. This will make the model even better. Pros: the ability to perform several functions, the availability of external antennas, quick LAN and wireless LAN connections, The availability of a guest subnet, in addition to two bands, and the capability to restrict the amount of time that a particular device can connect to the internet. Another disadvantage is that the internet connection can be spotty at times. That is remedied by restarting the system, however this did not take place on the ASUS WL-500G, which is seven years old. The function for parental control does not perform as well as we would like it to, and the capability that is available is restricted. The logging function is extremely limited; there is no information on the activation of blocking rules, the transmission of packets, etc.; instead, the most fundamental and fundamentally simple set of events is written down. It would be helpful for setting up rules if you could connect device names to MAC or IP addresses, but you can't do that (and I'm not talking about raising the internal Amazon either, although it may be interesting).
