Review on 🚽 Convenient Gray Squatty Potty Porta Traveler: Foldable 7" Height Toilet Stool for Travel by Travis Rogers

Best portable - squat but not perfect

Longtime fan of squatty potty devices and have them in every bathroom I use regularly. However, if you're struggling with the need to poop from home, you usually can't find anything suitable to replace it at the right height for comfort and help. I bought their earlier touring version (Porta-Squatty) which was inflatable. It was comfortable but a bit heavy and awkward to pack. However, I have found that it does not stay inflated and requires another puff of air each time it needs to be used. It was inconvenient, mostly because you don't always have extra time. If you understand what I'm talking about. I believe this was probably a general quality control issue with the inflatable product since it was discontinued. The new and improved Porta-Squatty is made of hard plastic with two hinged leg panels. Comes with a carry bag which can make wearing in public as well as packing more discreet. The plastic sync lock on the lanyard was damaged somewhere in transit but is not essential or critical to using the case or device. PS is easy to open and adjust and easy to close. However, weight is still a packaging factor and weighs more than older inflatables. Very sturdy but as stated on the warning label attached this is NOT a step stool to stand on. It's still easy to put your feet/legs in a better position for an easier and more productive evacuation. As a hard object, fitting in a suitcase can also be a problem. It's like putting a cutting board in a suitcase. Since the inside of my trolley isn't flat due to the pull handle channel, you may lose some packing space if you're also mindful of weight distribution and want to put the PS on the bottom of the pack. (However, this also means that it is not easily accessible until arrival at the destination). It can be too long to fit in some under-seat carry-on bags (if you really want to keep it handy) and presents the same problem of wasting packing space due to its rigidity. Glad to have this more portable travel version, just wish , they would be lighter and easier to pack.
