Advantages: Easy to use, portable and pocket sized to reapply/touch up when needed, looks realistic just like real freckles! However, once dry, not easily transferrable. Suitable for light to medium tan tones and tanned skin. (For reference: I wear shade 240/330 in Maybelline Foundation, 290/300 in Fenty Beauty) Cons: Even with a good foundation and setting powder, freckles don't last long (especially under a mask). I wore the mask directly with this product for 1 hour and the freckles on my nose were 80% gone and then completely gone within the next hour or so even after I took the mask off. The freckles on my cheeks stayed under the mask and barely faded - they lasted about 4 hours after the mask before they also started to fade. I wouldn't recommend it if you wear a mask for many hours throughout the day, but it looks cute in photos and will probably last (longer if you don't wear a mask at all) around 4-6 hours before you need to retouch it. It is NOT waterproof and will also fade faster if you touch your face often or have OILY SKIN. A light brown freckle pencil is most likely not a good color for people with darker skin tones.
