Not worth the money, get the fuel cap directly from BMW for the same price or cheaper but better quality. It was cheap plastic that didn't even seal properly. I ordered this twice because the first time it was the completely wrong gas cap which was WAY too big and the second time it was plastic all around and didn't look anything like the picture (which was probably copied). This cap says to fit a 2000 3 Series (E46 body style) where the former clearly didn't stand a chance, the latter looks like it but due to the cheap plastic and the use of plastic tabs instead of metal it has a loose fit . and will not produce a strong seal.
