I intentionally bought them a little big for my 11 foot little boys. But even if you take the size up, they're not ridiculously big, just a bit loose around the foot. Still great for sleeping in, he says they are very comfortable and he loves wearing them! He doesn't want to wear his old socks anymore. The colors are fun but not so bright that they overshadow the outfit. Nice "earthy light" colors.
