I bought these to be able to shave for an extended period, possibly a very long time, in the event of a power outage. If I have to go into survival mode, I'll be the guy who still manages to shave! These dual blade cartridges are great to have on hand. They never spoil. They work well (to be honest, after two extra blades on modern razors, it's just stupid and does not contribute to a good shave), they are cheap, work without energy and require a minimum of skill. Each cartridge lasts a long time considering how cheap they are. That's probably more than a year's supply if I had to switch to all non-electric razors. It's good to have a few in your travel gear in case your power goes out or you're somewhere with other power. It's even useful to have at home if you miss a few days of shaving and need to switch to the stubble to use an electric razor. I'd say this is important for anyone who genuinely hates the feel of facial hair, which maybe not many do, but I'm one of them.
