Review on Compact UV Blocking Umbrella with Superior Sun Protection by Heidi Young

Overall I am very happy with this umbrella. I've been walking around Tokyo and with this umbrella I was much cooler and sweating a lot less than usual. I've never used any other umbrella so I can't tell you exactly how different it is but when I saw other people walking around with umbrellas , I noticed the sun coming through their umbrellas, but mine was completely covered. Parts I didn't like. When rolled up, the umbrella is very thick and a little heavy. I didn't mind carrying it with me. It was just a wrap which was a little annoying. The velcro barely moved and I'm sure it will eventually break. Personally, I don't like the silver color, but I understand that this is the best option for reflecting the sun. I just wish it didn't look so cheap and tasteless. It's a little hard to close but very easy to open. It's a decent size and you won't run into any passers-by, but at the same time I wish there was more coverage for all the bulk you're carrying around. Or at least bend more. It's too small for the rain. I'm still pretty wet and missed my regular umbrella but I know it's supposed to be for the sun but I'm just stressing the lack of protection. Oh, and if you have a little guest, wind. Ready. This thing turns around like those old cartoons. I was a bit surprised how easily it could just turn over in a very light breeze. Oh, and the handle length is really short. I kept changing arms because they were too short. Otherwise I think it's worth the price. I'm sure most of it has to do with the protection factor, but other things might fix them in an updated version. I will most likely stay with this brand and even upgrade if they make a newer version. Just the comfort of walking all day without the scorching sun is worth it in my opinion.
