However if you look inside you might think this is for M type SSDs as I originally thought, in fact it is for M and B type NVme SSDs (Type with two holes below). I tested it and it works great on both Mac and Windows. As a tip for buyers to copy their data from an old small drive to a new SSD without risk of loss, there is a live Windows USB called Herin's Boot CD, google it and see how to get it on USB and from boot there. You can copy the entire contents of your old drive to the new drive using the tools available there, I did that.
