I read all these reviews which were mixed so I bought this item. However, I listened to the feedback and as soon as I opened the item I plugged in and tried the CD player. After all, that's why I bought this item and spent so much money on it. Well, to my surprise, the previous reviews on the subject were correct and the CD player didn't work. I am sending it back and will not try to replace it. Oh yeah, and while I was at it I played music through the radio and bluetooth because I bought it for the sound and the 50W power too. The sound is normal but not loud at all. It's only louder with CDs, I don't know! I wouldn't buy it because of the size either. If you're reading this you're probably like me looking for a CD boombox with good sound and volume and finding the incredible that it just doesn't exist so I took a chance but trust me when I say don't do it . It's not worth the time, effort or money.
