Review on Sony XB950B1 Extra Bass Wireless Headphones: Enhanced Sound and App Control in Sleek Black Design by Hemant Hemant ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

I have been using it for about a month (I ordered it from Japan before the start of sales in 2022). I listen a lot and everywhere: about 4 hours on the road home-work-home (podcasts / audiobooks / series in transport and metro), at work 4 hours a day, well, I play at home in the evenings, I watch movies. Before that, I used a Sony MW600 headset on the road, Klips Image x10i earplugs at work (these are top Klipsch rebar drops with a $200 price tag and a very decent sound) and cheap overhead philips at home. The only incentive to buy was that the ears got tired of the plugs, I decided to replace all of the above devices with one universal one. As a result, Sonya took root, I use them mainly (well, for the soul, sometimes I connect Klipsch). * good design. sit on the head tightly, do not press, do not fly off. the ear pads are soft. not leather, but feels very nice. the diameter and depth of the cups are correct, the ears are entirely inside, touching nothing. for long listening what you need. * There is no active noise reduction, but outside sounds do not penetrate much. in the metro, the rumble of the car is audible, but it does not cause any particular inconvenience, a small increase in volume is solved * autonomy. In my regimen, they last one and a half to two days. from morning to evening they will live under any load, without a doubt * the quality of the wireless connection is excellent. no stuttering, temporary loss of sound, etc. in an open space of 20m, too, without distortion, they work everywhere in the apartment. * AptX support. For Sony, the Galaxy S4 became the main signal source, the quality became noticeably better than on wires * via USB-Bluetooth whistle can be used on a large computer in Skype. * sound quality. after a very balanced Klipsh, it seems like a bit too much bass. The booster is generally superfluous. basses where they are appropriate sound simply phenomenal, but the rest of the frequencies are in place, just not so transparent and airy. * cons relate to a wired connection, not significant Total: finally felt, the wireless future has come. Highly recommend. For your money, a great option.

Pros
  • convenience, sound quality, noise isolation, autonomy, all the most modern technologies
Cons
  • work when charging or cable connection in passive mode, there is no case, the cable is short (with a proprietary connector).
