This is my first time ordering this product and it failed immediately. I sent it back and received a replacement product. I also order the same product, but instead of blue I got black. I've only had the device for two months and now it doesn't work anymore. I need a RELIABLE backup hard drive. That's definitely not true. I have an OLD Seagate hard drive that still works and thought Seagate would be a good fit. nope I won't try again as I need to trust the device to last a while. Meanwhile, I'm afraid that OLD Seagate hard drive will let me down at any moment. This is currently the only backup drive I own and own. I'm off to see if I can find a good portable HD that isn't Seagate.
