As others have pointed out, this drill does not stay sharp for very long, the metal is weak. I ordered it to install speaker wire behind my plasterboard walls. The chimneys in my walls are pressure-treated wood, similar to plywood. I was only able to make it through a few holes before the drill became so dull it burned more than it drilled. Fearing that I would set my house on fire, I dropped the case and got back to the little things. This meant I had to drill many more holes in the wall to get to the kindling that I now need to patch. I am very disappointed with the quality of the beats, I had hoped that the "made in America" promise would be worth something in terms of quality. The companion extensions worked well, but they didn't seem adaptable for beats other than this one or others from the Eagle Tool. While the premise is good, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a similar solution to this common problem.
