Update: the light bulb burned out after 84 days of moderate use, but the manufacturer responded to my email almost immediately through the Revain message center with a question about the 180 days -Guarantee replied. The manufacturer was very polite, helpful and sent a replacement housing and lamp within a few days. You could see where the lamp cord had burned out and looking back I wonder if that was why it was turning on and off by itself until it finally blew. First review below ---> The fit in the Benq W1070 projector was a bit loose and ours was fitted upside down. It starts out dim and takes a minute to warm up to full brightness. It's also turned on or off randomly many times since we've had it. This was about 1/3 the price of other lamp blocks, so I think this minor inconvenience is an acceptable compromise.
