The product is intended for people who know how to install a hard drive and where on the motherboard it is installed. You assemble it yourself, install the map and decide how you want to use the hard drive. I installed my 500GB NVMe M.2 drive and it works great. The instructions are short and include pictures with a short caption showing you how to assemble and install. A screwdriver is included and is the right size for all screws. I installed a hard drive so I have additional details. If you have already assembled computer parts, the assembly and installation is intuitive. For people who are not used to such assembly of parts, the instructions may not be detailed enough.
