Review on πŸͺž Exquisite dcDalton Birdcage Mirror: 5-Inch Beveled Edge Octagon Shape, Assembled in USA by Laura Mason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice mirror but could use better clips!

This is a very nice mirror and is a good weight. I like that it's a really big, well sized mirror. But the two clips on the back of the mirror just slide over the cage's crossbar and rest on it, rather than attaching to it. There are no parts that easily curve above and below the bar (like the little hooks on wooden mirrors). So if a bird bites the mirror or handles it roughly in any way, it can easily detach and fall off. I originally bought this for my African Gray Congo but she didn't like it (it scared her but she is very picky about what she allows in her cage) so I took it out of her cage and planned to use it. for my cockatiel. But I think if she hadn't been scared and I had left him in her cage, if she had grabbed him at least once, he would have jumped off the cage bar and fallen immediately. (See photos of the back of the mirror) This mirror would be perfect however and would work very well for a parrot or even a bird the size of a cockatiel but I just don't think it would hold up for a large parrot that is easily plucked it could be right off the surface. bar counter. I gave it 5 stars because I don't think it was ever intended for large parrots judging by the seller's photos of the item containing the parrot.
