Review on Whitmor Hanging Shoe Shelves: 10-Section Closet Organizer in Java - Maximize Space and Style by Steve Walton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little product testing will go a long way.

This company prides itself on being around forever and "just doing one thing". Well, they should expand to more things like testing the product in real world scenarios. Within 5 minutes I discovered many improvements that could be used in this product. 1) It looks ugly and outdated. I gave it a try, hoping that the product might not be very photogenic. Unfortunately, it looks exactly like you would pull it out from under your late grandmother's bed. 2) Materials are weak. I ripped both the top plastic and the bottom material when I put it under the bed. This is a thin, soft bag, so you don't want to slide it lengthways under the bed. It bunches up and needs to be pulled from the other side to put under the bed. 3) Serious design flaw. The underside of this thing needs to be smooth so it doesn't catch on the carpet and bunch up. Very bad design in this regard. Apparently they've been doing the same thing for generations. To be honest, I am ashamed of this company. You should seriously consider accepting customer feedback. I couldn't be the only person facing these problems.
