Let them know my daughter doesn't usually like swings. I tried giving her one of the newer, fancier swings that have that kind of side-to-side up and down movement that seems to be very popular these days, but she hated it. We still wanted to get her a place. Something for her to sit behind when we watch movies as a family so we decided to give it a try. Surprisingly my daughter loves this chair. It's very easy. It swings forward from the fulcrum, back and forth, and that calms her completely. She actually sat in the chair for the entire film without complaint. Big win for us. The remote control and music functions are also good. More reasons I like it: Installation was very easy. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble and assemble everything. It's lightweight and easy to move from room to room. The seat also comes with a mesh that can cover the entire seat from top to bottom, but we haven't had a need for this feature yet. I think it would be great if we sat outside. In general, an excellent children's swing.
