Instant Pot Ultra cannot seal securely

Not working. It doesn't provide a reliable seal because the lid, pot, and silicone O-ring are too loose, causing leaks and preventing pressure from building. This happened 2 times out of 3 when I tried to use Ultra. When this happens, not only is the food spoiled, but the energy that should be used to create pressure is instead wasted burning the food at the bottom of the pot, causing an incredible mess. This is the second Instant Pot I own. My DUO60 did this sometimes too, but I foolishly bought a newer model thinking that this problem should be fixed. Ultra is actually worse. When this problem occurs, the pan blindly goes through its cooking cycle, unaware that the pressure never built up. I've used pressure cookers on the stovetop for decades, both for cooking and canning, and have never had a problem with the pressure cooker closing. I keep my pressure cookers meticulously clean so I know it's not pilot error. In my opinion it's just very bad design. I will never buy an Instant Pot product again. If you think my experience isn't normal, I recommend googling "instant pot won't seal" to see how widespread this issue is. (Of course, none of the "fixes" were intended to actually solve the problem.) Finally, I found the UI overly complex and difficult to read unless I bent down to look at it directly. I would like to do without all the bells and whistles of an electric pressure cooker in order to do a solid basic job. The only must-have feature for me is the meat roast function, so I'll keep looking.
