Review on πŸ₯Ύ Waterproof Winter Snow Boots for Boys and Girls by Nova Mountain by Darrell Beecher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great boot for cold weather and fun in the snow

My perspective: External size is very deceptive compared to foot. Should have 3/4" padding/insulation on all sides, increasing overall size. Compared to the Carters boots, they are a few notches up for actual winter use. They appear to be well made for winter use, snow and Profile deep enough to prevent snow from sticking Sides are high which keeps most of the snow with the suit on top Sides are flexible and not rigid so any twisting/slipping that can occur in winter directly impacts the ankle touched. I' This season I'm expecting at least one twisted ankle. Insulation seems standard despite the volume, I'd be fine with that in their 20s as long as they move in. The overall construction is a soft rubber base, firmer outsole, and textile upper - good overall waterproofing but poor durability? Considering they will probably only last 1 year, they will probably survive very well. Be careful with something relatively sharp (branch?), I think they can easily pierce the rubber sides. It's not like we're trying to let them into that situation, but the snow hides a lot. Child's eye (how important it is): Easy to get in and out of when the bungee cord is slack. The thread is easy to slide, even when wearing gloves. The bulky ones cause a few stumbling blocks from time to time. "Very, very warm!" Parents suggestion: Buy them and let them wear them indoors for a bit to get used to the size before heading off and blasting through the winter wonderland at full speed. If you don't already have bulky boots, these will be used. Conclusion: I will buy again next year and in a new size! Not for: Snowmobiling or some winter sports in my opinion. As a motorcyclist and applying knowledge to the snow counterpart, this is a serious risk due to the lack of strong sideboards!
