I bought several of these as Christmas gifts because of the good reviews. I was disappointed. ---------- UPDATE: I received an email from customer support. Currently you cannot play the multiplayer game from Android. I sent a screenshot and they solve the problems I had with the camera. I also had the opportunity to use the product on an iPhone. It is MUCH easier to use. If I had known that, I would not have bought them for Android users. If you have an iPhone, the app is fantastic and doesn't have any of the issues mentioned below. ---------- The following reviews are from the Android app: - First, the app doesn't recognize the maze. as it was created on the board. I changed the lighting, other distances, and other variables, but it wasn't even remotely accurate. I had to spend a lot of time manually editing the map with my phone, which brings me to the second point. The application is inconvenient for the user. Difficult to find icons to add start and stop checkboxes. The editing process is slow and tedious. If you move the map with two fingers, touching will accidentally add walls and other objects. - It was difficult for children (over 8 years old) to navigate the maze. If you press the button to stop, it will keep running for a while until it stops. You have to wait for it to come to a complete stop, turn around and start again or you'll end up moving sideways. It takes some time to get used to. It should be programmed to stop immediately, not gradually. The instructions state that when you first open the app, you can select "Play with friends". I didn't see this option when I started the app, so we couldn't play together. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and see what happens. A few other non-complaint notes, just FYI: - This only works with Google Cardboard based viewers. My brother has a Tsumi dream vision and because of his button interface he can only move one square at a time through the maze. The cardboard base is perforated so you can make your own fishing holes. This renders the toy with the ball unusable as it does not roll smoothly. It gets stuck in the perforation every other square, so kids don't want to use it on the table. I understand this isn't a feature of the toy, but that's what I missed when I bought it. Additional viewers and build kits are cheap and reasonably priced, so that was a good thing. At the same time, the game is fun. once you spend some time programming and configuring it. If navigation were easier and worked with other VR viewers, I might not notice other shortcomings. Overall, I'm not sure I can positively recommend this to a friend.
