I do not recommend these shelves to anyone. There is a list of things that went wrong with the design of the shelves.1. The bars attached to the wall and shelf were often uneven and did not match the holes. I had to bend the bars where they needed to be.2. Small pieces of metal often protruded from the pre-drilled holes in the device itself, making it difficult to screw the holes. Mounting it on the wall is a pain @$$. Do as he says and screw them together.4. Getting the screws from the bracket to the shelf to tighten was often very difficult. See note 2. I would not recommend it
