Review on Washable Furnace Filter 14X25X1 20 by Chuck Chen

Finally broken and got washable filters for his oil stove. I live near a dirt road so dust is always a problem and I only had to use merv 8 or lower otherwise the filters have to be changed every 3 weeks and of course they don't catch fine dust. I hope they give me cleaner air and save money. I'll probably have to clean them every few weeks but I think if the air is filtered better I can work longer and I plan on checking them every 2 weeks now. Because they not only fit perfectly, but are also sturdy and weigh more than disposable filters, I actually get a better seal around the edges. Again, I have an old oil stove which I believe originally used old washable metal filters but previous residents eventually replaced them with disposable filters. For the moment I am very happy with this purchase and the product, but until I really use the oven again. say it will not change. I will update this review if I run into any issues but for now it's definitely 5 stars.
