*** 2ND UPDATE *** I can't remember if it was my 3rd or 4th order but I was on the road and as Mother's Day approached I knew that my mum and my Sister needed them again, they seem to legs grow and walk when male relatives or teens are around so I stocked up again, gave mom and sister 2 range, they work wonders with thick nails and especially toenails, Needless to say I probably should have bought more and will be ordering more in the future. Just follow the nail filing rules: file in one direction only, do not file back and forth as this will crack and flake your nails. If you don't know how to properly search for files online, there are many suitable nail treatments on YouTube. I love the ergonomic design and solid construction of these folders. I'm not a professional but many friends and family members use me for manicures and pedicures so I keep them separate to avoid germs. I recommend if visiting a foot spa or similar either bring your own or make sure they open the hygienic pack of dishes and I give each family/friend one of these and my own set of manicure tools/pedicure, so they can bring it with them every use and I still wipe them down with rubbing alcohol before and after each use. I've tried several files but these are by far the most popular and also my favorite files. **UPDATE** It was a hit at Christmas! I've used them as stocking fillers and every single person has actually come up to me and asked where I got them! My sister had a husband who stole them so I gave her 2 more for her birthday. The next day my aunt called and asked where to find her and said how much she and my uncle loved her (so much so he took her too!) The other day my mom asked for more too and now I am gone and ordered 2 packs! So today I'm ordering again for the family and I because if you put them on the coffee table or in the living room we'll find them disappear! I can't believe I'm back! I think this time I'll order 4 packs and hide 1 pack where others can't grab! They're also great for pet owners because while my two-dog groomers are great, toenails are always uneven when trimming them. So a few swipes help us not scratch ourselves every time we're greeted at the door. They're great for toenails, especially for guys who hate filing, as they require very little movement to get the shape you want. I haven't had a chance to try acrylic nails on, but after 25 years of using acrylic I know they will work well. I make my own acrylic paints now and I'm dying to try them when I make my next set. These are excellent quality files that will last a long time. The reason I keep buying more is because EVERYONE wants to keep them! They're easy for those of us (like me) who suffer from arthritis as they don't require a lot of pressure or much movement to trim even the strongest and thickest of nails, it's easy to shape with these guys. Tip: Do not saw nails when using EACH file, roll them in one direction at a time to avoid jagged edges and damage causing nails to sag and chip/break. I found them rougher than I expected at first, but felt they would be great for toes or anyone with acrylic that I would use them on. The curved design is very ergonomic, which makes it easy to file documents.
