I've spent a lot of time looking for cheaper options but ended up with this one because I wanted a quality epilator and was scared , because I've never used it. I won't lie, it hurts (I didn't hurt my shins), I had to stop and take deep breaths and drink a fair amount of wine during the process, but I did it and I'm SO glad I did! I used it dry so not sure if using it wet makes a difference in terms of pain but you just have to soak it up and do it. Do this while watching Netflix and drinking wine to take your mind off the pain. It feels like you're being pummeled by a bunch of tiny rubber bands (but there's absolutely no pain from the epilator itself, if you put it on a hairless area of skin you won't feel it. All the pain comes from pulling out the hair) Overall I'm very happy I bought this and the battery life is very good too!
