Review on 💿 Hornettek HT-3402U3: Enterprise USB 3.0 JBOD SATA HDD Enclosure 4 Bays by Brandon Ball

I bought one of these for JBOD installation and esata/usb3 connection. It's light and compact, with a large fan. That's exactly what I wanted. I put a 4TB Seagate drive in - it just formatted it to 2TB (lazy) and it worked non-stop for a couple of days, streaming content through the media player. Very cool. Then it stopped. I do not know why. Sent it back and got a replacement quickly. Since there were only a few, I even ordered a second one. I don't know if it's a power issue or what, but this time when I plugged in the second drive - both the replacement and the new unit - both stopped working. Imagine I insert 4 hard drives! I'm hoping this can be fixed without returning the devices as this is exactly what I'm looking for (CUSTOMER SERVICE - PLEASE CONTACT ME TO SEE IF WE CAN FIX THIS). Great when it works.
