Review on Soozier Lightweight Wooden Balance Board Trainer With Non-Slip Roller, Ideal For Building Core Stability And Balance Training In Office Or Home Use - 32 Inch Wobble Board by Ryan Noble

Definitely works muscles as you try to keep balance - maybe not safe for some

I should first preface my review with some information about me. While I'm 58 now, I skateboarded extensively in my youth and still have two skateboards I occasionally use. I credit my past with having retained decent balance. But it was a good thing that the first time I used this board I was holding onto something for I surely would have fallen if I hadn't. After a couple tries, I was able to keep on the board without holding onto anything for minutes at a time. My wife (52) who actively practices yoga every day is unable to maintain balance for more than a few seconds, even after many tries.I think one of the challenges of this board - maybe an mis-design? - is that the roller is too tall, making the potential incline on the board too big. I.e. when you lose balance, the board inclines quite a lot before you're "saved" but the board touching ground on one side. By that time, some people have likely fallen off already.Having given all these warnings, I think everyone would benefit from increased balance if they keep practicing on it. Just make sure you have something solid to hang onto if you lose balance.
