I got one of these straighteners for Christmas years ago and it lasted many years before I decided I needed a new one. The old one was in surprisingly good shape and still working, I just felt it was time to update it. I was looking for another rectifier. I bought and gave myself several different hair straighteners, different brands and prices, but none of them worked as well as my old one. I have thicker curly hair and every other straightener I've tried, even the expensive one, only made my hair wavy and didn't straighten it completely. I decided to take a chance and look here for a brand of hair straightener I've had before and was so excited to find this one at this price point. I will never use any other brand again. It's the best I've ever had.
