I recently received a 44 inch belt from another company and it's fine. I have the 44 inch belt on this page because I need the brown one and I like the style, but it's too small. First strap 51.5 inches (without buckle). This belt is 48.25" without buckle - 3.25" shorter! What's rather unforgivable about it (aside from the fact that it's not the advertised length) is that it tells you to cut off any excess and in fact it comes without the buckle attached to make it easier, in which case they just might add an extra inch or two so it can be trimmed. It's so far removed that I can only guess that they either put the wrong leather strip in the box (perhaps because it wasn't on the buckle) or whoever I cut it off and then sent it back to, can't use it anyway.
