We use this product for industrial purposes on our machines. We bought over 10 at a time. Does not withstand normal weather (rain). They began to leak and condensation appeared inside. Then the light froze into a solid streak and stopped blinking. Took a few apart and NO WEATHER PROTECTION. no gaskets, sealants etc. it is in no way close to IP66 (i.e. dust and water proof, including submersion). DO NOT BUY, it is NOT waterproof. So we take them apart and apply silicone to the lens/body interface and the screws underneath. hope it lasts Too bad because this lantern should get 5 stars if it is weatherproof. UPDATE - we tried to buy a few more and you know what? Now they are sealed! I think they quickly figured out that you need to use sealant to make it waterproof. I will update when we have more crashes
