It's so hard to find good men's hiking shoes that are the right size these days. Most sneakers are too narrow in the toe area and their sizing hasn't been up to par in recent years. I used to be a NB enthusiast but every time I order the same pair of shoes from them it changes and they are always tight in the wrong places so I gave these Fitville shoes a try. her at. Unlike the NB and Skechers brands, which run about half a size smaller, these Fitvilles are true to size and have a luxurious feel as your foot slides into them. I have ordered another pair. Fit: I'm a size 14 and before shoe manufacturers started offshore production for Asia it was a true 14D. Then the width started to shrink and I switched to EE. :-))) Of course I'm getting old too. In any case, I think the Fitville can be about half a size larger than what's available from the best other guys (I'm not sure anymore who it is), so order two pairs. One is your actual size and the other is half a size smaller if available. Send back what doesn't fit! I'll come back and update this later - the real test of excellence is in how well these Fitvilles hold up over time. Let's see what happens after a few months of daily wear.
