Update: A very nice customer service representative went out of his way to take my situation to his manager and he sent me a replacement free of charge. I really appreciate how she got out of the way. However, there is no basic customer service policy regarding product warranties/defects from this company. I was fortunate that the representative made every effort to help me. Original: Bought and installed less than 2 years ago in March 2020 and now it has started leaking spontaneously. The leak is coming from the center filter housing after we last changed the filter about 6 months ago. Haven't touched the case or anything since, only suddenly a slow leak started under our sink. While waiting for our replacement filters to arrive in the mail, I tried screwing the housing onto the middle filter but it was still leaking. I completely disassembled the center filter, rinsed it, and "pricked" the o-rings in hot water as recommended by the Express Water Customer Service Representative, but it was still leaking. I ordered new O-rings because the original only came with 1 extra. I replaced all 4 six month old filters and o-rings with a leaking center housing. Woke up this morning and it's still dripping. I called customer service again and they offered to replace the leaking filter housing with another one and see if the leak persists or stays centered. I swapped the GAC with sediment as well as the internal filters. The leak remained in the original center filter housing, so the leak was a result of a faulty white "cap" in the center, not the filter bowl or o-rings. I called the customer service rep and she said it would cost $60 to replace all three white caps as only one cannot be replaced. I said it was a defect, not normal wear and tear. System water pressure is always 60psi or less and filters are changed on schedule (I sent proof of this). The rep's boss offered a measly 5% discount. For a brand new $200 product that is supposed to replace a complex $60 part in less than 2 years, other than changing the filter every 6 months for $60 or more, this is not a quality product. Expresswater does not endorse its product and makes no effort to provide quality customer service in order to retain its customers. It's a shame the product wears off so quickly. I had a cheap no name 5 stage reverse osmosis system for 8 years that never leaked and I only changed it because it was 8 years old. What does that say about Expresswasser and its products? Thank you for reading my review and experience.
