Great for adding extra security to any vehicle, really improves visibility including the left side blind spot. This is a significant improvement over just the rear window view. As far as I can remember I paid over $14 for a similar mirror in the late 80's but when the car was sold I forgot to take it with me. Revain's $9 price point is excellent value for money. Reading reviews I've seen some models claiming clarity and brightness to justify the higher price. The price is much higher. I only chose this one because it is very similar to my original and so worth it. Some reviewers didn't like the mirror because it was distorted? In my humble opinion, this is nonsense, because it looks normal, it just increases the field of view. I think if you are a nervous person who gets sensory overload easily then this mirror is not for you. But if you want a mirror that stands still without tools and improves rearward visibility, then this mirror is for you. Ordered for all our cars because it's good. Maybe I'll buy some for my parents' cars if they don't have a car yet. Of course highly recommended.
