The sharpness may have increased, but I feel like this picture is better than before. If you have any problems I would advise you to contact their support. I have changed my original 3/5 stars to 5/5. Some clustered cameras may look more washed out than others. I contacted support and they told me this is normal. It's like the camera's resolution is smaller and they just blew up the picture. Also, these systems are what you would expect from software/apps as they are clunky. Back then I bought 8 kits of a 3TB NVR for $630 and still feel I got a decent bang for the buck, although I'd like to know the actual picture quality (not what I was expecting, 1080p maybe 720p). Hope this helps someone in their purchasing decision.
