UPDATE: I figured out how to wear this belt and now I really like it! There is a leather tongue on the back of the belt. When you pull it, the belt loop moves away from the buckle. This makes it much easier to thread the belt into the loop. I've been wearing the belt for a few days and it's become a little easier to wear. It looks good and I'm very glad I bought it. Why does anyone like this belt? I hate this belt. I've never hated an inanimate object more than this belt! The leather is so hard and stiff and the end of the strap is so thick and wide that it refuses to slide smoothly into the loop. The buckle also looks good, but gets in the way when inserting the belt. I spent ten minutes (!) putting this strap on but it got stuck and refused to go into the loop no matter how hard I tried. pushed. I even took my pants off to try and squeeze them in a little more. There are no dice. When I realized I was going to be late for work, I changed my pants. So don't buy that crappy belt. Unless you want your head to explode with frustration. The only good thing about it is that it looks nice.
