Increase the size if your child is a bit stocky.
Cute shirts. Bought L for my almost 5 year old. She's a stocky kid, so I figured it would be better to have bigger shirts than undersized ones. This makes them just the thing with their loose fit - the perfect T-shirts for the summer. Don't worry about them tearing badly in the dryer. However, that's why I "tried it on". They are soft and the colour/design is trending right now. (I'll add a photo later).
