After fully charging the battery, a battery application seems to confirm everything the seller describes about it. However the age of the battery concerns me. The app show it was manufactured in 2015. I'm not sure how many years this battery will last. The seller says that the battery can take "Up to 1500+ recharge cycles over the life of the battery." This is more than Apple says about its battery whic hs about 1000 cycles. But Apple's battery manufactured date that comes with the Macbook is close to its first use date, not seven years later. The battery I replaced was nine years old with nearly 900 cycles. Apple's battery did not make 1000 cycles but did last nine years before needing replacement. Recharge cycles may be a good measure for a battery that begins being used near the manufactured date but is uncertain if the battery if the beginning used date is nearly 7 years after sitting on the self for that much time. Time and use will tell how long the battery will last.
