I removed some old hard drives from the computers in my garage before taking them for recycling. Two drives have an IDE interface, which isn't even present on my current machine. I bought a Unitek USB converter for IDE support and also used it for the SATA drive because it was easier than opening the computer to install the drive. Unitek worked great with all three drives, Windows 10 recognized the drives immediately and I was able to back up all the information.
