I wish I had had these devices 25 years ago when I was laying tiles all day. These red caps rotate on a thin plastic base that is set into the cement (thin set) used to bond the tiles to the floor. The image shows the result of using the Spin Doctor tile leveling system. I put this beautiful ceramic floor (looks like wood) in the small bedroom of my house. I hated the old carpet and ended up taking it off, patching all the concrete nail holes and then starting this project. It's been many years since I installed the tiles myself so I had to invest in a new tile cutter. What was great was the ease of use and practicality of this product. I was able to unscrew the red cap and align the edges of adjacent tiles and in the corners I used it to align the corners of 4 adjacent tiles. This made it possible to get a perfectly flat floor without one tile under the other. Always remember to use a set thin enough to squeeze a little out of the entire suture and then clean it up after installing the Spin Doctor aligners. If you don't use enough thin set, the tile underneath will sound "hollow" (because it's hollow and prone to cracking). I am now starting my next project which is to finish the side of the house where this project started. You can buy these items at many outlets, but I've found that when you see competitive prices at Revain, you really save. And no, I don't work for Revain or like Jeff Bezos.
