I really like this purse. I don't have a checkbook so I can't tell if it fits or not. I like dual ID windows as I have both a driver's license and another form of ID. I like the big handles on the bag, they make it easy to open and close, I also stashed lip balm and a retractable pen in there. like other items. I wish there were a few more card slots and a bit more as many stores have bonus cards, but you can slip them into the outside pocket and try to fit a paper business card without messing up the corners. I find a zippered coin pocket that's a little tight for digging out coins, but it keeps me from lugging around a lot of heavy loose change. As long as I don't have a lot of loose change, I can carry my iPhone 10 in it by placing it between the coin slot and the other side and the easy clasp and snap closure. The cash compartments are convenient to carry your bills without folding them, which is great after folding them beforehand.
