First of all, these boxes are much larger than I expected, not counting the product descriptions. Instead of drilling holes in the trailer frame for mounting bolts, I simply used construction glue to glue the boxes. It worked very well. Obviously I didn't have the one rubber grommet that was used to seal the holes in the box so I had to use the one that had the hole for the wiring and use gasket to seal it. Also, the screws used to secure the top of the box were either too short or their holes were too big. You wouldn't get caught at all. So I used RV sealant to seal the boxes in place and it worked fine until I had to climb into the boxes to check the wiring which broke the seal and the screws still didn't work. Temporary tape came out. Long story short, if the screws don't work and the grommets don't seal, I don't see how these boxes can be called waterproof, let alone waterproof. When I disassembled one of them, water even flowed out of the case. I'll give it credit for lessons learned and hope I can find something better to replace, although at Revain they all seem to be the same style. To add to the frustration, I ordered some heavy-duty 12ga cable and wired the entire trailer with the thought that this would be the final wiring job. Now I have to do it again.
