Mixed reviews for these heel pads. Basically all about the socks themselves if they are great, soft, fit well (I have 7.5 women), breathable and the silicone is nice and thick. The downside is that about 5-10 minutes after putting it on, my skin felt like it was only burning where the sock/sleeve was covered. I thought my skin would be red and angry when I took my socks off but no, everything looked normal so I wore them all night. I woke up 3-4 hours later to burning skin and my legs hurt terribly so I took them off. Tried again at night 2 - same problem but I removed them after only 5 minutes of burning my skin. I noticed that my heels were a little softer, even though I only wore them briefly the first night. (about 4 hours). It only really matters what chemicals in them caused the reaction I had. Very disappointing as this is generally what I was looking for. I wish I had the same product with silicone but nothing was added so I could apply my own lotions and just seal them in while I slept. It would also be great if they reached to the toes so that the entire part of the foot is hydrated. I will try hand washing them to remove the chemicals but not sure if that will work. I gave the comfort a 2 as I can hardly stand holding them due to the burning sensation. The fit itself is a 5. Overall 1 only because if I can't wash the chemicals off they are currently unsuitable for me.
