Not exactly what I expected. The stand isn't as light and flimsy as I thought, it's stiff and solid, but I'd recommend a longer span stand for 15.6 inch laptops. My laptop is 15.6 inches and sits well on the stand, but I still feel like it would offer more support if it were bigger. Out of reach of my laptop (14"), this stand covers (6.5"), which is about half its length. You can also open and close the stand, but that gets in the way. All in all a good product for the price, therefore a purchase recommendation.
