Failed to load media. Well balanced overall solid construction, however they have a downside if each leaf is foldable. The plastic/ABS body is very thin which allows the frame that holds the wing in place to flex and allows room for the frame to flex when the valve is in use, causing the valve to occasionally bind and cannot return to the closed position. and also possibly trash cans falling into any position he covers. This is a shame as almost every other aspect of the construction of these caps is very well done and overall solid construction. A simple fix would be to lengthen each wing's ABS/plastic pin where it slides into the hinge area to allow more room to move when the hinge body flexes, which would mostly eliminate the problem as the problem is due to movement/ Bending of the body itself that accommodates the ABS/plastic slide pin at the point where it hooks into the case frame.
