Review on 🐦 K&H Pet Products Thermo-Perch - Heated Bird Perch in Small Gray by Jose Gerber

K&H, I am very disappointed! I bought this particular perch over 3 years ago which has been fantastic for 3 years but due to a recent move I reinstalled the perch and overtightened which broke the plastic screw. So I bought a new perch but found that it wasn't made the way it used to be. It ticks every few seconds for several days. That's awful. So I exchanged it for another and again pliers. It's winter and the bird needs a warm place to sleep. K&H graciously returned the money and let me keep the defective perch. Revain removed them for a short time until the issue was resolved, as others were complaining about similar issues. By now the perch had stopped ticking, but was no longer warm. I checked last week and saw they are back on Revain. I ordered another perch hoping the problem was solved. Not so! A few days later my last perch is ticking (3rd in 2 months!). But at least it's warm this time! I hope the ticking doesn't end in an electrical fire! UPDATE: Revane kindly replaced the perch with a different one. Now we are on the FOURTH pole in 2 months. As with the others, the ticking started a day later. It's been a week since I received this last perch and I was about to check as I can't hear the ticking anymore. Guess what? Cold! It won't work anymore - in just a week or less! I believe a recall is needed and K&H Manufacturing needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out what they are doing differently than years ago. That's very disappointing!
