The only reason it has bad reviews is because people are stupid and get this for guinea pigs (which is NOT what it is for) and then give that review 1 star. You can ignore almost all 1 star reviews. It almost looks like some idiot killed his guinea pig all at once and then created 30 accounts just to give this review 1 star. It works perfectly for my rat, no problem at all. looks solid. great for RATS
