Bought this unit for a very large bedroom. Judging by the way the central heating works in our house, our master bedroom is much cooler than the small rooms for our teenagers. If I adjusted the sleeping area to a comfortable height for me, it would be too hot in their rooms. hence the need for a separate heater. The unit is attractive, quiet, and has nice features like a timer and variable temperature. To be honest, my room does not heat up as much as I would like, but this is probably due to the very large size of the room, which also has very high ceilings. For a more "normal" room probably perfect. I am considering buying a second device. That's because I really like the design and features. enough to just want to add more heat output. This is a good product.
