Review on ASICS Gel Kinsei Island Orange: The Perfect Running Shoe by Jerry Mangum

As the price and placement at the top of the Asics range shows, this is a premium sneaker. I walk a few miles everyday with 2 large dogs and just bought 2 new pairs after using my first one for about 5 months and I love them so much. I've worn ASICS for years, particularly the Kayano, but rarely actually jog (cyclist) until I got dogs. I don't consider myself a running expert at all but these shoes have the fit I'm looking for and they're very comfortable for me, they even felt great on my feet when my upper calves/knees/lower quads were screaming at me when transitioning from cycling only for many years after college before running and cycling. The support is good and they are well ventilated to breathe well and dry quickly. They have good traction and are very maneuverable (the dogs like to stop and start and often and sometimes cross my path and I've never slipped). I put them in the shoe dryer right after use every day, especially on rainy days. In these I use Superfeet Orange insoles, which I also highly recommend. Overall very happy with it.
