Review on πŸŽ’ Lightweight School Backpacks and Kids' Backpacks - JanSport Superbreak Backpacks by Ryan Hampton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits a 42 " 5 year old girl

We were looking for a better bag than what she had for our daughter. Our goal was to have something with a side wall for her water bottle and enough room for her laptop and just a few essentials, plus a separate pocket for masks. And we didn't want it to be too difficult since she's only five years old. (Luckily she doesn't have to carry a laptop every day, only Mon/Fri but in times of COVID, yes a 5 year old has laptops now.) She's quite a big kid for 5 anyway. Just over 42 inches and 48 pounds . The backpack fits her, although it is too big. But it's not too big, and anything smaller wouldn't do for her. The only thing I might not care about is that it would be nice if there was another panel/zipper/compartment on the front. The zipped area on the front has a divider pocket, but maybe another separate space would be nice to keep the masks separate. However, this is a Jansport and we hope it lives up to its name in terms of quality. We didn't want to end up with a cheap piece of junk that would fall apart. We're only 2 weeks away so can't say much about their durability but wanted to point out their height/weight as we always worry about these things; It's hard to tell if it will work for a person of a certain size.
