It's disappointing that the pictures and description seemed to imply that the package contained a combination of styles (flat bar and rounded bar) but it was only flat so it was only a flatter comb worked for chickens. I'll have to order more with a rounded bridge elsewhere. There were no instructions, only pictures here. They were brittle and became more flexible when wet in warm water. You will need two people to do this - one to hold the bird and one to dress it. We were lucky, we hung them upside down, snapped them open and moved on. It was much more traumatic for us and the birds trying from the right side and holding onto their heads/beaks.
